ESL & Citizenship Classes

Kensington Baptist Church provides a service to the community by offering free English-as-a-Second Language (ESL) classes in the Spring and Fall of the year to help anyone whose primary language is not English. In the past we have had students from many countries in Latin America and from Korea.

Kensington Baptist Church provides a service to the community by offering free Citizenship classes. This class is for anyone preparing to take the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) naturalization test to become a U.S. Citizen and for anyone interested in learning the basics of American history and government.


ESL Class and Citizenship Class offered starting May 2017

The summer 2017 Citizenship classes will conclude in August 2017. We are tentatively planning on offering these classes again, starting in May 2018. Please check back on our website in April 2018 for more information.


ESL Classes to start in Fall 2017

KBC will teach English-as-a-Second Language classes starting in September 2017. Registration is on Monday, August 28, 2017 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Kensington Baptist Church. Classes will meet on most Monday evenings from 7:00-9:00 p.m. from September 2017 through April 2018.
